Structure of Cheboksary Electroapparatus Plant
There are four major business areas in CHEAZ which are realized in manufacturing and engineering complexes.
The complexes are formed according to the range of output products; they are separate divisions with a full scope of works – from designing and manufacturing to commissioning and maintenance.
Main divisions
SHIELD Engineering Complex
The manufacturing division performs a complete cycle from welding metal structures for modular enclosures to turn-key ready equipping. The workshops are equipped with state-of-the-art multifunctional manufacturing equipment: automated laser cutting machines, punch presses, creasing machines, powder painting line for large products, foam-sealing machines for panel doors and side walls, etc.
RELAY PROTECTION Engineering Complex
The division is equipped with state-of-the-art automated SMC assembly complex, printed assembly shops, finished product testing facilities; special testing and manufacturing equipment.
DRIVES TECHNOLOGIES Engineering Complex
The division has unique testing facilities which enable different tests of HV and LV frequency converters, soft starters and other equipment with supply voltage of 380 V, 690 V, 3 kV, 6 kV, 10 kV. Total testing area is 720 m².
RECONT Engineering Complex
RECONT Engineering Complex manufactures low voltage devices: contactors and relays. This is one of the basic business areas for CHEAZ.
