Modular control and monitoring stations
Modular control and monitoring stations are insulated buildings installed on the sites of control and management points of main oil pipelines infrastructure (main line valve units, pressure regulators, pig trap stations)
Modular control and monitoring stations are designed for:
- placement of high-voltage power supply equipment, engineering equipment for power supply systems, supervisory control equipment, communications equipment, valves and piping control equipment, electrochemical protection equipment, engineering and technical security equipment;
- ensuring normal operating conditions for the equipment installed inside the module, protecting it from adverse environmental impacts, unauthorized access, vandalism and illegal actions;
- outdoor use in all seasons nationwide in all climatic constructional zones of the main oil pipelines;
- use for all flow diagrams of shut-off and control valves of block valve stations and cleanup and diagnostic facilities;
- use for all existing and future data communications protocols.

Product composition
Modular control and monitoring stations consist of pre-fabricated modular building with the equipment installed in it. The configuration of modular control and monitoring stations is determined by the customer and project design and usually includes:
- high voltage input device for 6 (10) kV HV lines;
- power transformer(s);
- substation service equipment;
- security and fire alarm;
- HVAC and lightning;
- 0.4 kV ATS switchboard (power control board);
- telemechanics and communications.
Modular control and monitoring stations can be completed with the following equipment and systems:
- line telemechanics for SCADA systems of Sirius/Genesis type equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (data communications protocols: MDLC/TCP, Satilit or Modbus/TCP (IEC 60870-5-104), Modbus/RTU (IEC 870-5-101));
- electronic control units for main line valve driver, the quantity is determined in the order form;
- cathodic protection station (CPS) В-ОПЕ-ТМ;
- selfcontained fire-extinguishing system.
Technical security equipment ensures;
- access control to the module room and the shut-off valve unit;
- intrusion protection for the shut-off valve unit, instrumentation wells and module rooms;
- fire alarm system of module rooms;
- video recording and monitoring (optionally) in the module and shut-off valve unit.
Power control boards are manufactured in accordance with the requirements TU16-536.042-76, GOST R 51321.1 and the customer project design.
Type of the product and its configuration is determined by the customer and the project design.
Power control boards have a frame structure made of bent sheet profiles with switching and protection equipment and electrical measuring instruments installed in them. According to the construction specifications power control boards can be divided into:
- front access switchgear;
- dual access switchgear;
- single row switchgear;
- double row switchgear.
The power is supplied via a cable connected from below or above the switchboard. It is connected to outgoing lines from below using the cable. The power cable and outgoing line cables are connected through the terminal box.
The power control board is equipped with a switch for manual transfer from the main to the emergency power source.
The metal structure of the module is equipped with lifting lugs.
Purpose
Modules of control and monitoring stations of various designs and modifications, installed on the shut-off valve units of main oil pipelines, can provide:
- integration of design solutions for the shut-off valve units of the following project segments: electrical part, introduction of remote control, communications and security measures combined in a single complete supply;
- operation of remote control system, security and control communication systems via fiber-optic, radio and copper communication lines;
- compatibility of remote control data transmission protocols in accordance with the recommendations of GOST R IEC 60870-5-104 and GOST R IEC 60870-5-101;
- remote control and management of up to 8 main valves with an electric drive power of up to 45 kW;
- remote monitoring and control of cathodic protection stations (CPS) at the point of installation of the modules of control and monitoring stations;
- remote monitoring and control for reclosers of 6/10 kV lines of oil pipelines;
- access control to the shut-off valve unit and modules of control and monitoring stations as per GOST R 51241;
- television security of shut-off valve unit facilities (optionally) according to GOST R 51558.
Control and monitoring station modules in vandal resistant design
Modules of control and monitoring stations can be manufactured in anti-vandal version:
- walls: outside walls are made of profiled metal sheet (vandal-proof double-wave 20 mm high, 1200 mm wide) and 3 mm black steel, inside walls are made of galvanized profiled metal sheet with a polymer coating. There is a 12 mm circle furring between the profiled metal sheets. The spaces between the profiled metal sheets and the furring has a non-combustible insulation wrapped in polyethylene film (the thickness of the insulated part is 100 mm);
- lift-off corner cold roof, made of galvanized profiled metal sheet with a polymer coating and equipped with ventilation louvered grille. The roof slope is at least 9° to remove moisture. The construction of lift-off corner roof enables its removal for transportation;
- the ceiling of module is insulated, made of 3 mm metal sheet on the outside, and of 0.7 mm galvanized sheet with a polymer coating on the inside, has a non-combustible insulation wrapped in polyethylene film, the thickness of the insulated part is 150 mm.
