Requirements to reliability

Switchgear meets the requirements for reliability and durability in accordance with GOST 20.39.312-85.

Outdoor switchgear ensure continuous operation of engineering equipment while unattended.

The established service life of the switchgear is not less than 25 years, subject to maintenance or replacement of equipment, in accordance with the instructions of the operation manual for certain types and their components (when replacing components whose service life is less than 25 years).

Reliability indicators of the main equipment (mean time between failures, probability of failure-free operation, etc.) - in accordance with the requirements of the technical conditions for the installed equipment.

Maintenance of the installed equipment and its repair are carried out using the spare parts kit supplied together with the equipment.

Product components

The switchgear a set of separate cabinets including switching devices and other high-voltage components, measuring instruments, automation and protection devices, as well as control and signaling equipment and other auxiliary devices. The cabinets are connected to each other in accordance with the electrical diagram according to the data sheet.

The configuration of switchgear equipment is determined by the customer and project design and usually includes:

  • a set of high-voltage equipment;
  • AC or DC power supply and distribution switchboards for power supply of auxiliary operative circuits.

 Outdoor switchgear additionally include:

  • pre-fabricated modular building;
  • HVAC and lightning;
  • security and fire alarm.

The technical characteristics of the equipment and components installed in the switchgear meet the requirements of the relevant standards and technical conditions of the manufacturers.

Single-line electrical diagrams of the main switchgear circuits must correspond to the project design, and in case of production according to non-standard diagrams - to the customer's diagrams.

A set of high voltage equipment consists of:

  • switchgear - switchgear cabinets;
  • busbar or cable bridges for connecting cubicles in double-row switchgear designs;
  • other auxiliary equipment at customer's request.

The number of modular units of outdoor switchgears depends on the amount of equipment built into it.

The type of the installed equipment and its configuration are determined by the customer and project design.

The type of the used communications and supervisory control devices (if any) is determined by the customer and project design.

Auxiliary equipment for outdoor switchgear

The equipment for maintaining microclimate generally includes the following components:

  • auxiliary box;
  • heaters (convectors with mechanical thermostat or radiant heaters). The room temperature is regulated by thermostats operating in the range of -10…+50 °C;
  • air temperature sensor (fan thermostat);
  • electric fans;
  • air conditioning system with control device (the type of air conditioner is determined by the customer and project design).

At the customer's request, it is possible to install other types of equipment for microclimate maintenance.

Internal workspace lighting is provided by fluorescent lamps, unless otherwise specified in the project specification.

Outdoor lighting is provided by incandescent lamps.

Working lightning voltage is ~220 V.

According to the requirements of SNiP 23-05-95, emergency and backup lighting of evacuation exits from a switchgear module is equipped with emergency luminaires LBA, installed at the entrance doors of switchgear, which indicate to a person a way to a safe place and ensure continuous operation for three hours in case of power failure.

Emergency lighting inside the switchgear, if there is an operating current cabinet SHOTV, is carried out by luminaires with incandescent lamps.

There is a step-down transformer ~220/12 V in the auxiliary box for maintenance lighting.

Security and fire alarm equipment (perimeter alarm system) generally includes:

  • balanced magnetic switches (magnetic contact security alarm or contact switches);
  • intruder detectors (space violation detectors);
  • optoelectronic fire detectors (smoke fire detectors).

Upon the customer request, it is possible to install other types of security and fire alarm equipment, including in a separate box.
