Prefabricated single-sided service chambers of CSR 307 series

Prefabricated single-sided service chambers of CSR-307 series are designed for operation in electrical installations of three-phase alternating current of 50 Hz frequency with voltage 6 and 10 kV for the system with isolated or earthed through arc-extinguishing reactor neutral - closing and opening of load current and emergency current, for control and protection of lines and power distribution transformers at industrial enterprises and mines, in high-rise buildings, residential buildings, in prefabricated substations.

CSR chambers are manufactured both for the needs of the country's economy and for export. The chambers are used to assemble switchgears used to receive and distribute electric power. The principle of operation is determined by a set of schemes of main and auxiliary circuits of the chambers.

 CSR chambers can be used as a high-voltage device (HVD) for complete transformer substations of KTP-10/0,4, BMKTP-10/0,4 series with capacity from 100 to 3150 kVA.

 Climatic execution N, placement category 3 according to GOST 15150-69.

 CSR-307 chambers are manufactured according to technical specifications BKZHI.674731.185 TU.

Distinctive features

  • compactness (front width 410 mm, depth 915 mm, height 1600 mm);

  • application of modern technologies in manufacturing (cutting, bending and perforation of metal on automated FINN-POWER complexes);
  • made of galvanized metal, which allows to use the chamber in places with aggressive environments.

Technical data

The climatic design of CSR is N of placement category 3;

 Overall and installation dimensions of CSR chambers correspond to those specified in Appendix A.

 Nominal values of climatic factors - according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543.1-89.

 In this case: 

  • ambient air temperature range is accepted: from minus 25 to plus 40 ºС;
  • type of atmosphere II (industrial) according to GOST 15150-69;
  • altitude above sea level - not more than 1000 m;
  • the environment shall not be explosive, contain conductive dust, aggressive vapors and gases in concentrations destructive to metals and insulation.

CSR chambers are made:

  • according to the main circuit diagrams given in Appendix B;
  • according to the schemes of main circuits presented by the customer.

The manufacturer reserves the right to replace the above-mentioned devices with similar ones.

Device

CSR chambers are used to assemble switchgears for receiving and distributing electric power. The principle of operation is determined by a combination of main and auxiliary circuits of CSR chambers.

The chamber is a metal structure assembled from galvanized sheet profiles. The front doors are made of sheet rolled steel with subsequent painting. The main circuit equipment is located inside the chamber. Switch drive control, indication, signaling and control equipment are located on the front side of the CSR chamber. The chamber is equipped with observation windows for viewing the interior of the chamber and monitoring the position of external grounding knives.

During installation, the chamber frame is directly bonded to metal earthed structures or to embedded parts. Grounding busbars (conductors) are painted black or with alternating yellow-green stripes.

The relay compartment contains the equipment of the secondary connection scheme. Indication and control equipment is located on the relay compartment door. Inside the relay compartment there is a block of clamps to which the main busbars of auxiliary circuits are connected, passing through the window in the relay cabinet.

In order to avoid erroneous operations during maintenance and repair, the following interlocks are implemented in the chambers:

  • interlocking preventing the CSR chamber doors from being opened when the load disconnector is on;
  • interlocking preventing the CSR chamber doors from being opened when the grounding blades are switched off;
  • interlocking preventing the switching devices from being switched on when the high voltage apparatus door is open;
  • interlocking preventing the grounding blades from being switched on when the operating blades of disconnectors and load disconnectors are on;
  • interlocking preventing the disconnectors from being switched on when the grounding blades are on

Note - To implement other types of interlocks (operational safety, etc.) in accordance with auxiliary circuit diagrams, interlocking locks and block contacts used in signaling and automation circuits are installed in switching devices of CSR chambers (by order).
