Outdoor switchgear of CHEAZ-59 (KRUN KNV 10)
CHEAZ-59/10 outdoor switchgear are designed to operate as 6 and 10 kV distribution devices, including distribution devices of transformer substations, including compact modular transformer substations 35/6-10, 110/6-10, 110/35/6-10 kV.

Distinctive features

modules are divided into compartments: relay, switch compartment, main busbar compartment, linear busbar compartment;
- bottom busbar arrangement;
- floor mounted high voltage switch;
- various interlocks to protect against faulty actions during maintenance and repair;
- drawing of service connection diagrams on the basis of electrical-mechanical relay, as well as microprocessor-based RPA;
- a full set of main circuit and secondary wiring circuit diagrams that meet the Customer's requirements;
- can be joined with K-59 without using the socket adapters.

Construction
The module of CHEAZ-59 outdoor switchgear consists of a high-voltage part (cabinet), mounted on a rigid metal base, and a control corridor with a closed metal protective shell.
Types of basic cabinets:

- with power capacitors;
- with vacuum contactors;
- combined (with voltage transformers and surge arrestors).
To protect the maintenance staff the following design solutions are provided in CHEAZ-59 outdoor switchgear:
-
live parts of the main circuits that remain or can turn out to be energized after the withdrawable element has been moved to the repair position are automatically closed by shutters equipped with the devices for their locking;
- the shutters have warning notices and safety signs as per GOST 12.4.026;
- the body of the withdrawable element has two continuous electrical contacts with the body of the switchgear cabinet in the operating, test and all intermediate positions between the operating and test positions of the withdrawable element.
CHEAZ-59 outdoor switchgear modules have the following mechanical and electric interlocks:
-
interlock preventing the movement of a withdrawable element from the operating position to the test (disconnected) position, as well as from the test (disconnected) position to the operating position when the switching device installed on the withdrawable element is in actuated position;
- interlock preventing the switching device installed on the withdrawable element from being switched on when the withdrawable element is between the operating and test positions;
- interlock preventing the withdrawable element from moving from the test (disconnected) to the operating position when the earthing disconnecting switches are on;
- interlock preventing the earthing disconnecting switch from being switched on when the withdrawable element is in the operating position;
- interlock preventing the withdrawable element with the unit auxiliary transformer from movement when the incoming circuit breaker is on;
- interlock preventing the withdrawable element of a sectional disconnector from movement in a coupling cabinet when the withdrawable element of a bus-section switch located in an adjacent cabinet is in the operating position.
